Thanks to the advent of social platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and more, there have been ample resources available for those looking to be more adventurous when it comes to solving technical issues by themselves.

As content centered around DIY flourish, more and more people are taking matters that needed professional assistance into their own hands and trying to problem-solve independently.

Noticing this trend and realizing that there needs to be a supportive community to help this mindset grow and flourish, Malaysian-born Johnson Lam founded the KakiRepair community on Facebook.
